Wearing & Caring For Your ClearCorrect Aligners
To get the most out of your clear aligner treatment, you’ll need to follow the guidelines set by your dentist, including the following:
- Wear each set of aligners for a minimum of 22 hours every day as prescribed. Remove them only during meals and while brushing your teeth.
- While wearing ClearCorrect clear aligners, consume only cool water – avoid eating or drinking anything else.
- Remove your ClearCorrect aligner trays before cleaning your teeth.
- Store your ClearCorrect clear aligners in their designated case and place them in a secure, easily remembered location when not in use.
- Maintain the cleanliness of your ClearCorrect aligner trays by soaking them for one hour daily in a mixture of one tablespoon of baking soda and 1/2 cup of warm water. Alternatively, you can clean them with a solution composed of one part hydrogen peroxide and an equal amount of warm water.
- Rinse your clear aligners before reinserting them into your mouth.
- Maintain proper oral hygiene to ensure the health of your teeth and the longevity of your aligners.
